We don’t recruit. We Attract. If you think you would like to be a part of the FUN, LOVE and ACCEPTANCE that is exemplified by being LEVIATHAN, just ASK. First you are a Leviathan Stowaway for 1-6 months while you get to know us and we get to know you…by attending Leviathan activities. At the discretion of the Captain, the Stowaway is advanced to Provisional Crewe…THEN you become eligible for our INDUCTION CEREMONY to become full CREWE.
Faire and Festival Listing
Somewhere in America, there is a Pirate Festival, Medieval or Renaissance Faire every weekend of the year. Many weekends there are multiple events to choose from that are happening simultaneously. Our Crewe loves to travel together and experience distant Festivals…and since thee Leviathan Crewe is spread across 36 States and 7 Countries there are “Cousins you haven’t met yet” all over the map. LOCAL Leadership Gatherings
Impromptu Gatherings are our way of getting together with friends…in person…on a LOCAL level. Often on short notice. Always FUN. No Expectations. No Attendance Requirement. Just come out and play if you can. Sometimes Pirate Casual. Sometimes dressed in Garb. Pirate Friendly Pubs become regular hang outs for our Crewe Mates around the country. Get involved with a Local Leadership Group or Get support in creating one where you live.
How it all started...
August 24th, 2011…a small group of pirates gathered around a table at Giuseppe’s Steel City Pizza to share a few pitchers of Rolling Rock beer and slices of Pizza. What started at that table has grown to almost 2000 members. When we travel to faires and festivals around the country, we often meet crewe members face-to-face we previously only knew online. Deeper friendships are forged…and over time…lives are literally changed. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we never forget that WE ARE CREWE!
